Registration:

• Athletes must register for provincials with Coach Jenkins or Coach Crooks by January 3, 2009.  Please e-mail roger_jenkins@kprdsb.ca, or chris_crooks@kprdsb.ca. 
• Registration fee is $35 for Cadets and $40 for Juveniles.  There is a $10 late fee for all registrations received after January 3, 2009.  Please make all cheques payable to “Kawartha Wrestling Club”.  There are no refunds. 
• All athletes that paid a full $300 membership have already been entered and registration has already been paid.

Accommodations: 

• Parents are to make their own bookings and chaperone their own child/children unless arrangements have been made with Mr. Jenkins or Mr. Crooks.

• The Heart of Niagara Hotels Contact: Rebecca Hunter 1-877-688-2324 The Heart of Niagara has several hotel options available, ranging from $85.00 to $94.00 per night (up to 4 in a room) plus taxes.

• Rooms have been blocked until January 5, 2009.

Cadet Boys: 39 kg. weight class is a change for 2009

Juvenile Men: Note: These are the Canada Games weights

Friday February 6, 2009 - Gym 2 in Ath. Bldg.

• 4:00 Registration Desk Open
• 4:30 - 6:30 Medicals and weigh-ins.
• Clubs will weigh-in by club/team. Each Club will have 1 hour from the time they arrive at weigh-ins to complete weigh-ins or until 6:30 pm, whichever is earlier.

Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 -Walker Complex + Gym 1

• 7:30 am Draw Sheets Posted
• 8:30 am Deadline for Coaches to report errors/ommissions to drawmasters
• THE DRAW IS FINAL AFTER 8:30 am
• 8:30 am Coaches’ Meeting
• 9:30 am Wrestling Begins
• 12:30 - 1:15 Lunch Break (time approx)
• 6:00 - 6:30 Dinner Break (all mats) *
• 6:30 - 9:00 Wrestling Continues *
• All round robin weight classes will complete wrestling on Saturday.
• 9:00 pm * Award Presentations for Round Robin Weight Classes, or at conclusion of wrestling Saturday, whichever is first; if wrestling can be concluded early by eliminating the dinner break, we may do so. This will be announced.
