CWE Aug 2 Results - Gooderham Aug 02, 2008

In front of over 100 rabid wrestling fans, CWE presented the 3rd annual "Horseshoe Havoc" Spectacular!

Match #1
Super Dave Titan vs Sheik Rahim Ali

Winner: Dave Titan

Match #2
MVP Michael Von Payton vs "Big Ticket" Reggie Marley

Winner: MVP (with a handful of tights)

Match #3
CWE Tag Team Championship
Wild Stallions (Champions) vs South Side Stranglers

In what was probably match of the day, the Wild Stallions defended their belts against the former champions. Despite all the double team maneuversand cheating on behalf of the Stranglers, the Stallions got the win and retained their titles.

Winners: (and still champions) Wild Stallions

Match #4 - No DQ Match
Randolph VanCour vs Masked Hideous Blob

In one of the grosser matches of the afternoon, the extremely flateuent MHB faced CWE newcomer Randolph VanCour.  In this no DQ match, the action quickly went outside the ring.  After a period of time, MHB's father came down to ringside.  Amazingly enough, MHB appears to be the "runt of the litter". Father Blob has a very "impressve" physique to say the least. At one point Randolph got sandwiched between the two Blobs as they ran into him at full force. A moment the blueblood VanCour will not soon forget.

Winner: Masked Hideous Blob

Match #5 - MAIN EVENT - CWE ONTARIO CHAMPIONSHIP
Edward Osbourne (champion) vs Ruffy Silverstein

This match went outside the ring onto a nearby demolition derby car. Ruffy gave Edward a devestating Piledriver on the roof of the car.  Ruffy carried the limp body of Edward to the ring to get the pin and the belt to the delight of the fans!

Winner: (and new champion) RUFFY SILVERSTEIN

===============

After the show had ended Edward Osbourne issued a formal complaint to CWE management that Ruffy should have been disqualified when giving him a piledriver on the roof of the car.   Edward felt he should not suffer for a rookie referees incorrect decision.

CWE Management reviewed the footage and agreed that a disqualification should have been made.  The title was returned to Edward Osbourne at that time with the stipulation that Edward must defend his belt again in a rematch later that day against Ruffy in Peterborough.
